Clients learn to be mindful of their eating and choices. They learn tools to help them keep mindful, and learn to eat without dieting.
I have set programs which there is discussion and worksheets that help the client learn the topic and skill for that discussion.
I have once been over weight as well. I could never stay on a diet. If I did diet, I only lost a small amount because I always cheated on the diets.
I understand now how being mindful of my eating and really being aware of the choices I was making and the consequences of those choices really made a difference in my weight loss efforts. I now teach other women the same things I have learn, to help them get off the dieting roller coaster.
