About me
I seek to work with individuals and couples who want to really understand themselves and to embrace and love who they are, using this as a foundation to create the lives and relationships they envision.
My client-centered approach to coaching is one of whole life wellness, recognizing the interconnection between different facets of our lives and the value of achieving balance. I come primarily from a solution focused background, but I also draw from other frameworks including, narrative approaches, cognitive behavioral, and positive psychology.
I have a PhD in psychology with research in work-life balance and burnout. I teach university courses in a variety of areas including personality, sex and sexuality, career counseling, life coaching, and cognition and emotion . I have extensive education in counseling and marriage and family therapy. I am an associate member of the Association for Coaching, a member of the International Association of Coaching, and the International Coach Federation. My certifications include life coach, solution focused life coach, transformational coach relationship coach, job and career development coach, and job and career transition coach.
