Spending my early years in competitive sport, and adult life within the fitness industry, I have been surrounded by people striving to look like their best self - but a real absence of working on their mental health. 

The importance of looking after your mental health became very clear to me from a young age, and I vowed to myself that I would make it a priority to shift the narrative from stigma and hostility, to acceptance and understanding. This has been the driving force in carving both my academic and professional path. 

Coaching is something I was doing, before even realising exactly what  I was doing. I've always been the person someone will come to for advice, the shoulder to cry on, the one who will help clear a foggy mind (the list goes on). I am grateful everyday that I can use my innate empathy, understanding, and patience to better the life of others. My absolute favourite part of my work, is seeing my clients transform.
