Erika J. Monell

I have been passionate about leading others toward a life of fulfillment through discovery and development of their joy, passion, and purpose from a very young age.

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, my passion drove me to leave my home in the Bronx to attend Syracuse University where I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. My career in corporate America has spanned over 20 years and led me to a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in the healthcare industry. Throughout my professional journey, the passion I have for people and relationships has remained consistent; from implementing software to make someone’s job easier, to coaching co-workers and friends through difficult situations, mentoring young girls, feeding and ministering to the homeless, or volunteering for any cause that has tugged at my heart and shaped her journey.

With every opportunity to lend a hand, my passion grew deeper and more profound until I accepted the calling on my life and decided to formally acknowledge my gifts by pursuing my certification as Professional Coach and creating From Distraction to Destiny Coaching.

I now proudly own my own private practice where I coach individuals, couples, and groups. In my free time, I enjoys spending time with my two sons and close friends.
