I provide mindfulness based coaching to inspire awareness in action and achieve goals!

About me

Hi, my name is Evan. I'm the founder and coach at Noble Path Coaching. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. Here's a little bit about myself and the coaching business I lead.

I grew up in a family with parents who cared deeply about their community and wanted to make it a better place for people with less privilege and resources to live the life they wanted. I remember seeing my parents work very hard for years (earning less than their peers in the for-profit sector) in social work, counseling, management, consulting, and executive leadership positions championing good causes in the nonprofit, social service, and higher education fields. They taught me about the power of mindfulness, spirituality, strengths, humanistic principals and values, leadership, and social responsibility in personal and professional life. They helped me see the connection we all have to our local communities and the greater systems at work that affect the quality of peoples' social and emotional lives, spirituality, economic well-being, and ecological health.

Through my parents and family, I was exposed to and developed an openness and interest in spirituality, compassion, and mindfulness as healthy ways of living. I developed an interest in the theory and practice of how managing my thoughts, emotions, and actions resulted in living a happier, peaceful, and more satisfying life. I learned this was also the key to leading the life I desired where there could be an alignment with my heart, mind, and soul.

After I went to college and gained some professional experience in state government and in nonprofits, I went to graduate school and earned a Master of Public Administration degree, where I learned about leadership, management, social entrepreneurship, and sustainability.

I connected up with a leading online social purpose company as a Director and Consultant for Business Development and Partnerships, helping create positive changes in the mental health and psychotherapy field. Later, I served as a care planning coordinator, facilitator, and team leader in behavioral health for one of the largest non-profit community mental health and social service organizations in Western Washington state.

Through these experiences, I gained hands-on practice in individual and business coaching, consulting, and facilitation. These experiences were powerful, and I wanted to take my energy and passion to the next level by creating a coaching business that would help individuals and groups by inspiring awareness in action to achieve goals, positive growth, and change for themselves and their communities!

Noble Path Coaching was born and began evolving as a very small consulting company in 2012 through 2013 in Portland, Oregon and moved to a small office in Olympia (capitol of Washington State) in early 2014. Our small coaching business is down to earth, trustworthy, and continually interested in improving our approach, techniques, practice, and services. We're different from other coaching services because we truly believe in a mindfulness and strengths-based approach that honors partnership, collaboration, voice and choice, and guiding you to positive outcomes. We support engaging in business that serves individuals and groups who are committed to creating positive change within themselves and their communities. We believe in compassionate, kind, and empathic business practices that emphasize nurturing relationships and helping others for a higher purpose. We aim to serve others honestly with a patient heart, mind, and spirit. This is how I do business and why Noble Path Coaching stands out.

I'd love to hear from you and to learn about your dreams, aspirations, strengths, needs, and goals. I look forward to collaborating together. May you be well and have a healthy, happy, prosperous day!

Kindest regards,

Evan Johnson, MPA
