About me
Things you may be interested to know about me:
--I worked in the social service and counseling fields for over a decade, primarily with people experiencing issues as significant as homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health issues. I know the experiences and stressors faced by helping professionals and others with hearts for service.
--I worked as an Employee Assistance Program counselor, providing counseling around a number of life circumstances faced by my clients, from interpersonal conflict, to work stress, to relationship issues.
--I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and am a Certified Health Coach. I work to practice whole health in my life. I believe that healthy eating and other healthy lifestyle choices are imperative to making an impact and living intentionally and can incorporate health coaching components into my life coaching services.
--I consistently work to develop my relationship with God. Although I am definitely a work-in-progress, connecting with God is one of my life's priorities.
--I have been described by clients and others on many occasions as being an excellent listener. I will always have practical advice available, but it is important to me that people feel heard. Coaching is about helping you accomplish YOUR goals. This can only be done if you are given a chance to speak and are listened to.
--As I am someone with a passion for living intentionally (making the most of life) and making an impact in the world, I love helping others to fulfill their passions and work toward an incredibly rewarding life.
What you can expect from a coaching session:
--Prayer asking God for direction and wisdom in the current circumstance
--Check in on previous session's goals (if applicable)
--Discussion of new concerns or questions
--Helpful information and resources given toward goal accomplishment
--Set goals for next session, which may include "homework"

HOW I LIKE TO COACH
I'm goal-oriented and a great listener. Coaching is about helping you to discover and name your goals, making a plan for how you will accomplish those goals, providing tools to help you accomplish your goals, and giving accountability and encouragement to assist you in following through on goal accomplishment.

Fees:
from $50 USD to $100 USD
My fee range is very competitive, particularly for a life coach with Licensed Clinical Social Worker and health coaching certification credentials. In our free initial consultation we can discuss an option that will work for you.
