I developed The Five Cs of Success to help my clients achieve their goals while remaining true to themselves. As a system, The Five Cs of Success are a roadmap towards business and personal success.

* Clarify your values – What ideals make up your business? What’s most important to you? What makes you YOU?
* Connect with your purpose – What do you want to do in your business? How does this relate to who you are and what’s important to you?
* Create your vision – Where do you want to be one year, five years, ten years from now? How does this connect with your purpose?
* Choose your direction – What path will you take towards your vision? What are your goals? How will you achieve them?
* Commit to action – What can you do right now to get you closer to your goal?

Every professional is different and will have different needs within the business coaching relationship. That’s why I develop an individualized coaching plan for each client that incorporates The Five Cs of Success while reflecting their strengths, goals, and values.

Caravel Coaching & Consulting helps professionals transition from employees to entrepreneurs, providing support, guidance, and assistance every step of the way. My mission is to help new and aspiring business owners navigate the challenges that come with small business ownership – challenges I’ve experienced firsthand.

In January 2016, my husband, an Air Force veteran and talented periodontist, purchased a successful, thriving dental practice. Five months later, I decided to apply my thirteen years in social work and public health to a business coaching practice, and I started Caravel Coaching & Consulting. We were both excited and optimistic about business ownership, and eager to start this new chapter of our lives.

Fast forward a few months, and both of us were overwhelmed, frustrated, and exhausted. Nothing was going like we expected, and the stress was taking its toll on our professional and personal lives. Everything we thought would be easy was difficult – extraordinarily difficult – and we were second-guessing our decisions every day.

My husband was desperately trying to balance his clinical duties with the responsibilities of small business ownership, and feared losing his passion for periodontics in the process. I was feeling overwhelmed by the world of entrepreneurship, and unsure of my next steps. Worst of all, we both felt alone, with no one to talk to about how complicated our lives had become.

Don’t get me wrong – we had people in our lives who loved us and wanted us to be happy. And my husband also had lawyers, accountants, and transition specialists handling the logistical components of his practice purchase. But there was no one to help us on the emotional rollercoaster of buying an established business or starting one from the ground up.

Imagine if we had started the process with a trusted business coach, someone who understood the stressors of simultaneously being a professional and a small business owner. Someone whose primary purpose was to guide us through the perils and pitfalls of business transition? Someone who could help us develop and maintain the key relationships we needed to succeed as small business owners?

That’s when I realized that with my experience as a therapist, public health professional, and business administrator, I could be that person. In fact, I have to be that person. Because I never want another professional to go through what we experienced.

Now, as a business transition coach, my mission is to help professionals navigate the often turbulent waters of business ownership. I am devoted to helping my clients build and maintain businesses they love. My clients create a world in which they love their business, their work is rewarding, and they are achieving their personal and professional goals.

One month package (4 sessions plus email support): $500 per month
Three month package (12 sessions plus email support) : $1425 every 3 months
