Clients understand their own dominant thinking styles and are able to intervene and consciously develop underrepresented elements in their thought process. They gain a better understanding of the interplay between IQ, EQ and SQ in how they process information and draw conclusions in any situation. For leaders who take decisions under complex situations, they specifically develop competencies to generate deeper insights, demonstrate foresight, exercise judgment in decision-making as well as reflect and learn. They also become adept at assessing short, medium and long-term prospects of the organisations they lead, while inspiring their teams by demonstrating strategic leadership.
HOW I LIKE TO COACH
I coach through questioning. Questions trigger thought. Questions arranged and sequenced in a particular way also trigger a thought pattern that eventually settled into a thinking methodology when applied consistently. Teaching methods instruct, where as coaching through questions inspires. I base all questions on the candidate's current role and organisation and the practical application is work place and peer-to-peer focused. There is no abstract learning, the concepts are practically applied from the onset.

PROFESSIONAL AND LIFE EXPERIENCE
I started my career as a teacher, then moved to retailing, joining retailers Edcon and Woolworths. I joined Anglovaal FMCG division, Yardley Of London in a sales and marketing role. I later moved into advertising and communications with the French group Publicis and later Lindsey Smithers FCB before going back to corporate to head up strategy and business planning for Engen Petroleum. I completed my corporate career in financial services heading up a division with Old Mutual.
In my consulting and coaching career I have worked with boards and executive teams in large listed companies like Harmony Gold, Murray & Roberts, Sibanye Gold, Goldfields, Kumba Iron Ore, ARM Platinum, Anglo American Coal, Anglo America Platinum, among others.
