PROFESSIONAL AND LIFE EXPERIENCE
My foundation in leadership and journey of personal development began in 1998 as a member of S.O.L.D.I.E.R.S. Outreach Ministries. As a Small Group Leader and Facilitator for 7 years, I received invaluable coaching, training and experience in leadership principles, group dynamics and emotional intelligence. I have been called upon as a speaker, presenter and teacher at churches, youth groups and community events and have written resources to support emotional and spiritual healing and growth for youth and adults.
Having served with the Corporation for National & Community Service as an AmeriCorps member to support youth leadership development, I worked with City Year Washington, DC, the Latin American Youth Center, the Boys and Girls Club and various schools and community organizations as an educator, curriculum developer, facilitator and mentor. I have studied Psychology, Human Services, African American Studies, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and numerous other Social and Business topics to amplify my knowledge and skills in navigating today’s social and economic climate.
I became a Certified Anger Management Facilitator (CAMF) with GCS Facilitators and Consultants in 2012. As of 2017 I am a Master Certified Anger Management Facilitator (MCAMF) and am committed to continuing the work of countering the negative influences of toxic environments by leading others to embrace and build a culture of DILIGENCE in their approach to life.
