Professional Experience
As Director of Human Resources and Support Services, I have provided leadership in developing HR capacity in a newly publically traded company. Managing 5 – 8 FTEs and sitting on the Executive Leadership team, the Director has a multi-national scope of responsibility of a $500M enterprise.

As a University Session Lecturer – Department of Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources Management. 9 courses taught, covering all years of undergraduate study: Including Organizational Behaviour, HR Management, Leadership and Management Skills.

As a Workforce Planning Consultant. This role was designed to work with in-house managers to help them better understand their workforce needs and provide specific services, coaching and consulting to align unit level planning with organizational wide strategies. Lied-off with 20 other peers, in a well publicized organizational re-structure beginning at the governmental level.

As a Human Resources Manager, the primary in-store business partner of the Store Manager. Responsible for the performance of no less than 40 Human Resource Management metrics. The SHRM drives change, improvement and employee development for an enterprise with an annual budget in excess of $70M. Responsible for the HR Management of a staff compliment of 225 including compensation management and adherence to fiscal parameters.

As the local Human Resources Generalist, responsible for the maintenance and successful implementation of all HR policies. Dealt with 6 Collective Agreements regularly and worked in a highly confidential environment. Managed one subordinate and worked closely with the senior management team on related planning and decision making.
