About me

I am happily married to the most amazing and loving man and a mom to our beautiful daughter who is my is absolutely my heart.

I am originally from Eastern Cape, in East London, I am Xhosa. I relocated to Johannesburg in 2007 because I got my first job in corporate after graduating. I had always known I wanted to pursue my career in a bigger city.

I grew up with my grandmother and she was my father and my mother. My mother fell pregnant when I was 16 and didn’t finish matric and went to work to support me and I guess life got in the way and she was not really there to parent, my father 'ran' away as soon as he found about the pregnancy and he never looked for me. When I started to ask questions about my father when I was 13, my mom did some research and we learned that he had already passed away in 1997. All those questions I had for him died instantly.

That whole dynamic affected how I viewed myself, how I viewed the world, how I interacted in the world with people and the relationships I formed.

I was diagnosed with depression in 2008 and went to see a Psychologist for the first time in my life and that’s my first encounter where I learned that people can get help, people can learn from their experiences, transform their lives and live the best version of themselves in their life. In 2011, I sought a career coach for the first time, at the time I thought, I needed career coaching, only to realise I need to deal with some issues and continue with the journey of transformation.

My love for people development grew more and more and here I am today.

PROFESSIONAL AND LIFE EXPERIENCE

I have worked in corporate in for 11 years and I focused on Coaching, Training and Development.

The companies I have worked for in corporate are Inter-Active Technologies, South African Breweries, Clientele Life and SanlamSky. I graduated in 2007 for Bcom Marketing & Business Management degree.

My career path quickly crossed with Training & Coaching after graduating and I never looked back since. The degree still helped me with a holistic understanding in Marketing and Business Management.

Branching on my own was meant to be a long-term goal but my entrepreneurial spirit and passion to help people was and is an urgent calling.

The other inspiration and boost to take action was from becoming a mom in October 2016. All of the sudden the feeling and needing to build and be someone who has balance who truly lives for passion instead of doing what I am supposed became more evident. The need to create, to being, to live became a priority and I couldn't take my excuses anymore.

I look forward to helping you work through your next steps in your life or steps you have always thought about but never could take the step.
