I am a Certified Personal Empowerment Coach and Trauma Recovery Specialist. Patient & Family Advocate of 14 years.

I am also a Certified Disability Independent Care Provider of 14 yrs for disabled children, teens and adults.

Simultaneously, I have over 20 years of experience as a childcare provider: Professional Nanny & House-Manager; Foster Mother of 3 and Guardian ad litem.

As a Writer, Author and Advocate-I have several publications about being born and living with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD).

I am an Advocate of 14 years for the CHD Community where I have spoken at many events, seminars and conferences. I have taught countless patients, families, doctors and nurses to understand the harsh reality of growing up with a chronic and terminal illness by being the first to publicly speak out about what I coined as the Taboo Subjects of Living with CHD (or other chronic illness) in 2008. From there, I built a platform for CHD Adults to share their stories as well as a forum to connect with other patients. And from there, CHD Legacy Publishing was born. I am now one of the oldest living HLHS patients in the world. I am a Pioneer and Trailblazer; Disability Community Leader and Advocate. I am considered an Expert in the correlation between Mental Health, Chronically Ill children, and the impact of Illness on a family.

I would consider myself an expert in understanding how trauma develops and the recovery path to get a trauma-brain to freedom. I bring a unique perspective of healing and guidance, and a strength and wisdom for a mid-thirties woman that is extraordinarily sparce.

One of my strongest characteristics is my versatility working with individuals and groups of people from all walks of life and being able to organize their lives, therefore their minds! Even as overachieving perfectionists-we, too, have scattered minds and sometimes need a Coach to get us back on our path.
