This 5- step checklist will show you how to develop an internal locus of control and eliminate victim mindset and blame game to develop your personalized Responsibility Action Plan and lead a meaningful life. We learn various skills and develop knowledge in school and college but no one teaches us basic life skills like building resilience and being accountable for our actions. This leads to negative self-image and limiting beliefs as we grow up and unable to make sense of our failures, challenges and life in general. This is an attempt to revamp the education system by establishing a strong base of sold life skills on which a successful personal professional life can Step 1- Self-Introspection The first step to any learning is to understand on a deeper level about your current position. This is the step where you look into the mirror and analyze objectively your opportunity areas. Here you need to focus on Limiting Beliefs, Unconscious Biases, Locus of Control, Value Drivers, Victim vs Growth Mindset and Realistic vs Fantasy Mindset. Step 2- Intention Implementation To begin using the tool, you need to set the intentions right! To learn anything new, you need to set tangible goals. Here as well, you need to identify specific goals for major areas of life- Family. Relationships/ friendship, Career/ Passion, Physical/ Mental Health, Social/ network/ work space, Finance, Spirituality and Personal Development. This is up to you to decide. In one-to-one coaching, I help people distinguish between long-term generic responsibilities and short-term specific responsibility areas. The coaching would specifically focus on both general development and specific areas of target- example- for someone, a college fresher might want to build responsibility towards career but for a 30 year old man who just became a father, taking responsibility of his family might be more important. Step 3- Create your Responsibility Action Plan 1. Declutter your limiting beliefs and victim mindset 2. Rewire your brain through specific affirmations 3. Construct the MERIT (Meaning-based ritualistic living) system 4. Setup a realistic accountability system 5. I-for-an-I- Implementation for an Idea 6. Upscaling the art of resilience Step 4- MERIT Generic I created MERIT system after due research and self-implementation. A lot of trial and error went into this process. MERIT means MEaning-based RITualistic living. The concept is that your actions/ habits are determined by your emotions and your emotions are a result of your most important values. Hence, you can rewire your day and your life by consciously understanding your values and hence, building rituals around those values. I personally follow and advocate following rituals- affirmations, physical training, visualize, designing your room/ environment in a way that it inspires you, rewarding yourself unconditionally. These are some powerful MERITs that helped me but the beauty of this system is that it is totally customizable. Step 5- MERIT Specific As discussed earlier, for each individual, taking responsibility is a specific area of life can be more important than other major areas of life. In this step, we build specific rituals for specific goals. From upgrading skills for your career to becoming a better husband, we would narrow down a system plan for the same and build rituals around it. Rituals are different from habits. Rituals work on auto-pilot and not on a time table. Rituals have specific meaning attached to them derived from your core values. Finally, once set with due diligence, it is something that is unavoidable. Step 6- Warrior-growth mindset: Resilience shield Resilience is not something you learn. We all are resilient. But we can be more than that. Resilience is not just about bouncing back to normal after a trauma or adversity, or handling daily stresses of life. It is primarily about growing as you face a trauma/ challenge/ adversity. Just like we go through the pain to strengthen our muscles and bones, similarly, we need to grow our mental capacities and develop meaning in life understanding what we have been through. This is where the magic happens. This is learning how to convert challenges to opportunity. In positive psychology, we call it Post-traumatic Growth. We learn various skills and develop knowledge in school and  college but no one teaches us basic life skills like building resilience and being accountable for our actions. This leads to negative self-image and limiting beliefs as we grow up and unable to make sense of our failures, challenges and life in general. This is an attempt to revamp the education system by establishing a strong base of sold life skills on which a successful personal professional life
can

Step 1- Self-Introspection

The first step to any learning is to understand on a deeper level about
your current position. This is the step where you look into the mirror and analyze objectively your opportunity areas. Here you need to focus on Limiting Beliefs, Unconscious Biases, Locus of Control, Value Drivers, Victim vs Growth Mindset and Realistic vs Fantasy Mindset.

Step 2- Intention Implementation

To begin using the tool, you need to set the intentions right! To learn
anything new, you need to set tangible goals. Here as well, you need to identify specific goals for major areas of life- Family. Relationships/
friendship, Career/ Passion, Physical/ Mental Health, Social/ network/
work space, Finance, Spirituality and Personal Development. This is up to you to decide. In one-to-one coaching, I help people distinguish
between long-term generic responsibilities and short-term specific
responsibility areas. The coaching would specifically focus on both
general development and specific areas of target- example- for someone, a college fresher might want to build responsibility towards career but for a 30 year old man who just became a father, taking responsibility of his family might be more important.

Step 3- Create your Responsibility Action Plan

1. Declutter your limiting beliefs and victim mindset
2. Rewire your brain through specific affirmations
3. Construct the MERIT (Meaning-based ritualistic living) system
4. Setup a realistic accountability system
5. I-for-an-I- Implementation for an Idea
6. Upscaling the art of resilience

Step 4- MERIT Generic

I created MERIT system after due research and self-implementation.

Step 5- MERIT Specific

As discussed earlier, for each individual, taking responsibility is a
specific area of life can be more important than other major areas of
life. In this step, we build specific rituals for specific goals. From
upgrading skills for your career to becoming a better husband, we would narrow down a system plan for the same and build rituals around it. Rituals are different from habits. Rituals work on auto-pilot and not on a time table. Rituals have specific meaning attached to them derived from your core values. Finally, once set with due diligence, it is something that is unavoidable.

Step 6- Warrior-growth mindset: Resilience shield

Resilience is not something you learn. We all are resilient. But we can be more than that. Resilience is not just about bouncing back to normal after a trauma or adversity, or handling daily stresses of life. It is primarily about growing as you face a trauma/ challenge/ adversity.
Just like we go through the pain to strengthen our muscles and bones,
similarly, we need to grow our mental capacities and develop meaning
in life understanding what we have been through. This is where the
magic happens. This is learning how to convert challenges to opportunity. In positive psychology, we call it Post-traumatic Growth.
