    It should come as no surprise that in business, as with most things, it's very difficult to succeed on your own. You need support to keep yourself motivated, moving forward and to keep learning. If you're trying to accomplish certain goals, then mastermind groups led by experts and other support systems (such as coaches) can be a real benefit to you as a business person.

  3. Module 3 : How to Take Action Now to Achieve Your Goals!

    The greatest hurdle between you and achievements probably is not a lack of funding, or a failing to understand your prospective industry. It's what 8 out of 10 people who claim they want to start a business of their own or begin a workout regiment struggle with ... simply getting started. I'll give you a personal example. Before I started Crossfit, I knew my workout had become stagnant and I desperately wanted a change that would challenge me more. Knowing and implementing, however, are two very different things. Crossfit really intrigued me but I still couldn't bring myself on my own to start it. Then I met the owner and head coach of my box (that's what Crossfitters like to call their gym). He was so enthusiastic and persuasive that I checked it out, joined and am still there. Sometimes you need help getting started, and there's nothing wrong with that.

    Everyone has the ability to be successful. So why is it that not everyone succeeds?

    Achievements and failures are options we create knowingly and unconsciously. Striving for achievements without effort is like trying to lift a 150lb barbell when you can't even lift 75lbs. You may want to do it but without setting it as one of your goals and investing the time and work needed, you won't be able to lift that barbell.

    There is a variation of thought that separates those who are successful from those who are not based on if they believe that achievements are won, innate, or earned. The response someone gives can tell you a lot about that person, and why they are where they are.
