Mindfulness Meditation has gained in popularity recently, with mindfulness becoming the new buzz word. Buddhist Monks favor Mindfulness practices and a lot of meditation techniques have an element of mindfulness to them.
This technique is simple and easy to apply in all situations throughout the day. Practicing the first stage of mindfulness brings peace to the mind and relaxes you throughout the meditation session.

Anapana takes Mindfulness Meditation to the next step. While Mindfulness assists with starting to focus the mind, Anapana narrows the focus to the area where the breath enters and leaves the body.

Insight Meditation takes us another step along our meditation journey. Also known as Vipassana, Insight Meditation calls for full body awareness and focuses the attention to minute areas while detaching from sensations that appear outside of the area of focus.

Japa or Mantra Meditation is a lovely technique that asks us to chant a chosen mantra. Chanting in such ways can bring us to trance like states as it balances the mind, body and spirit.

This is probably the most well known meditation. Guided visualizations are used in some Yoga practices and to assist with creating associations with tranquil and peaceful images by putting yourself in the experience

A quiet space
At least 10 minutes a day

I offer a weekly 1/2 online coaching session throughout the duration of the course. Depending on how many are participating this may be one to one or as a group.
