In a world where many of us think who we are and what we do isn't "good enough", where we tend to downplay or ignore our achievements, we need to make sure that we are regularly taking the time to acknowledge our successes.
Acknowledge Your Success Every Day
At the end of each day, spend a few minutes to write down what went well during your day. Actively look for and acknowledge anything positive and anything that could be considered a "success", even small things.
For example:
- Made a healthy breakfast
- Had a good connection with three customers; helped them solve their problem
- Made my partner laugh a few times
Doing this every evening before bed will keep your spirits up and motivate you to keep working on your goals.
