Our culture is geared toward immediate results and meditation doesn't seem to provide the instant gratification we all yearn for. You don't go to the gym once and suddenly become ripped. The same holds true for meditation. Meditation is a practice, which means you have to DO IT CONSISTENTLY in order to gain maximum results.
Now, I am not saying that one session of meditation is useless. Quite to the contrary, one session of meditation can dramatically shift your perspective, lower stress, and create change. But if you want lasting, powerful change, practice meditation. Every day. Your business, partner, friends, and coworkers will thank you.
