Take a moment to chill out.  It can be a huge benefit to your health.

Find a quiet place where you can retreat daily and collect yourself.  You don’t have to go too far, it can be a corner in your house or apartment.

Once you pick the spot, sit in silence for at least 5 minutes.  Whether during the first minutes of the day, or the last, this practice of checking in with yourself can make a huge difference on the rest of your mindset, and can even help you sleep better.

This is a tip that's worth following. The first few minutes after you wake up is very important. It sets the stage for what the rest of the day will look like. If possible, spend 5-10 minutes just sitting, then do some yoga poses to complete the exercise. Trust me, it really puts you a much needed calm state of mind!
