A good leader knows that he or she doesn’t need to be in control all of the time.
If an employee, peer, or even supervisor has greater expertise in one area, yield to them, and let them take the lead.
This doesn’t mean you are going to sit back and relax! Get involved and learn from this person so that you get more knowledge that will let you take a more active role in the future.
Insisting to run the show may look pig-headed, and it probably won’t produce the best results.
