Clean up your space once a day. It really makes a difference.
Just taking 60 minutes before the end of the day to pick up papers, file away books or folders, or run a quick sweep or mop around the house, can keep organizational disaster at bay. Addressing a couple dust bunnies here and there will keep your house or workplace functionally spic and span, and you will no longer need to dread dedicating a day to fixing a mess.

April 15, 2013Wow, I thought cleaning once a week was bad enough! But I suppose I see your point about doing a little cleaning everyday--it's more psychological than anything else. The way I see it, I prefer doing a massive cleaning once a week as opposed to spending a little bit of time everyday doing 'not so thorough' cleaning.

May 23, 2013I'm not a neat freak (far from it actually) but I find that maintaining a neat and tidy work space helps build a positive and encouraging work environment. Although I don't tidy up everyday, I do so twice a week. It really improves my mood and keeps me motivated to work! Seriously!
