Coaches aren't instructors they are facilitators.
That means it's the coachee that determines what actions they will take and how they will use their sessions together.
Many organizations expect coaching to take on a magic wand status of immediately changing unproductive behaviour – it doesn't work like that. The coachee needs time to recognize the value of change and to put that change in to place.
You need to ask yourself is the person to be coached ready to change?
