It is definitely possible to link your own website to your LCH subdomain. Just choose Client access only as the website type when registering or from your Account Settings page.
Then on your existing website, add links to your Login page and Shop in your menu or sidebar.
You can still design the subdomain to look like your own site. Do this from the Website Design page under Website in the main menu. You can upload your logo, change colors, etc.
