I am a former mental health counselor who left the system and became a coach. I'd love to help you discover hidden obstacles within yourself and resolve them, so you become free to reach important milestones in life.
I've been coaching, training and working on myself for 25 years.
Over this time, the reasons why we so often fail to get what we want have become clear to me.
It boils down to two primary issues:
1. Lack of clear and realistic direction
2. Self-sabotage
These two issues apply to career and life goals, relationships, emotional life and beyond. When you know what you want out of a career, a marriage, or even out of your relationship to yourself, you can begin taking steps that make sense, right?
Funny how many of us don't take time (or even know how) to understand what makes us fulfilled. Do you know what you really want, what would satisfy your deepest needs? Do you know how to get it?
And then there's self-sabotage - getting in your own way.
When you know what you want and need to do, all that's left is to 'just do it', right? Not so fast.
How many people do you know who....
• Want close relationships but push people away?
• Want to be assertive but never speak up?
• Want to get stuff done, but consistently procrastinate?
• Want to get in shape, but blow their diet again and again?
• Want peace and balance, but live in chaos?
• Want help, but won't ask?
• Want to high self-esteem, but won't take care of themselves?
And so on. If 'just do it' were all there was to it, more people would be content. Of course you must take action. However, many of us act as if some part of us were working against our goals.
Many of us behave as if some part of us wants the OPPOSITE. And we stay stuck there.
And you know what? It's not your fault (it is your responsibility). You did not choose to carry an inner saboteur through life.
Yet, until you get your mind around how self-sabotage works and learn to overcome it, you are likely to remain stuck.

HOW I LIKE TO COACH
The process looks something like this:
• Clarify goals.
• Identify hidden sources of self-sabotage that keep you stuck.
• Transform the self-sabotage with surprising insights - aha moments - followed by specific strategies that reverse harmful feelings and behaviors.
Deep and lasting change can happen quickly. If you're reversing lifelong mental and behavioral habits, however, it can take time. Still, you will feel your progress after each and every session.

• Run the business arm of a national engineering firm with Fortune 100 clientele
• Conducted training in government and business organizations, such as Intel, Microsoft, AG Edwards, Los Alamos National Labs and many smaller business and local government entities.
• Created a very successful online business training coaches, with students around the world
• Helped raise eight children
• Escaped a cult
