Sure, you may value hard work, but you may not have to work so hard if you worked smarter and maximized your workday. The following tips should help:
- Only work during your workday. Once you leave the office, try to forget about work. Don’t respond to work-related emails and calls on your personal time.
- Have a good breakfast. Having a stomach that is full (but not too full) of nutritious food will help you focus. The vitamins, nutrients, and calories will feed your brain, helping you to stay on task.
- Do work at work. Don’t let business and pleasure mix. If you take personal calls, check your Facebook, and do other personal tasks during your workday, you may find that your work spills into your personal life.

April 16, 2013Work-life balance baby! That's the key to a wonderful life! Do not connect your work email to your mobile phone because if you do, you'll never stop working! Working over the weekends is also a big No-NO. I used to be a supreme workaholic but after my family conducted an intervention on my behalf, I started slowing down and trust me, it was the best decision I made.
