How many times have you found yourself self sabotaging your own successes? We have all been there, finding ourselves as horrified onlookers while a part of us semi-consciously ruins a relationship, job interview or friendship.
Whenever this happens, it is nothing to do with our confidence, personality faults or lack of skills. It is a simple case of coming up against sub-conscious behavior limits.
When you reach the edge of what you believe yourself capable, your ego will take action to make sure you don’t go beyond your comfort zone, through self sabotage if necessary. Once these self-imposed limits are recognized, it is possible to take action to redress them.

April 10, 2013I find this phrase very interesting: "when you reach the edge of what you believe yourself capable, your ego will take action to make sure you don't go beyond your comfort zone....". Honestly I've never looked at it that way before. I'm sure that from this moment on, I'll make a conscious effort to remember this every time I find myself saying I can't do it, when in fact I most certainly can!

April 11, 2013Very true! Do not not practice self-sabotage as it's clearly a downward spiral. Think positive every time you are faced with challenges and everything will be alright!

April 14, 2013Ladies, always believe in yourself and remember that you deserve everything you get! Hard work and perseverance will get you what you want, and when you earn it, don't rain on your parade! Instead, bask in your success and enjoy! :)
