Andrea is the brain child of Brown Girl From Boston an unapologetic blog for women who are looking to uncover their FLYness (Fearlessly Loving Yourself while Forever Liberating Yourself). Brown Girl From Boston blog give women in every city, every rural area, every state, every country to live life in a fearless, unapologetic way while being FLY. Drea wants women to be unapologetically FLY! Andrea currently is temporarily dislocated in Providence, RI while actively pursuing the next major life move.
Andrea is a social media maven, nationally and internationally known blogger and an unapologetic, powerful and FLY inspirational speaker. She is a member of National Coalition of 100 Black Women-Rhode Island Chapter, Townie Leadership Facilitator, Board Member of the Rhode Island Black Heritage Society and the 2014 Practico Innovation Winner of the Innovative Business Pitch Idea for her Smart Savvy app which is coming soon to a smartphone and tablet soon.
Andrea is a goal getter, lover of life, in which she loves and appreciate laughter, telling jokes with friends and family. Andrea is a music maven, Hip Hop Brainiac (S/O to Rapsody), Boston sports fanatic, coffee, brunch, yoga, enjoys sleeping in late, running 5K marathons, fashion, food fitness and travel.
Andrea is a professional coach with a certification in personal development coaching from The CaPP Institute. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor’s degree from Tuskegee University (TU U Know).

PROFESSIONAL AND LIFE EXPERIENCE
Since graduating from graduate school with my Master of Social Work, I have been unemployed and underemployed for on and off for five years. During the five years, I started my first business of becoming a professional resume writer and career coach. I assisted unemployed, young professionals, youths in summer employment programs and the homeless population with job training skills, resume writing, interviewing skills and professionalism.
I have also worked as an independent career coach for the United States Army. I worked with returning solders from Iraq and Afghanistan who were transitioning out of the military into civilian life.
I have also consulted with women who were unemployed and underemployed brainstorm their ideas to assist them with starting a business. I have assisted up to ten women and men on their startup business.
