Dating can be an exciting adventure. Dating with a life coach on your side helps you enjoy the adventure and minimize the pitfalls. As your coach, I can help you improve your success in dating and relationships. You will learn valuable communication approaches and observation (translation) techniques. I will also guide you through deciphering red-flags and identifying repeated relationship patterns (Why do I always pick the wrong one?)
With different personalities, communication styles, and family backgrounds, it is no wonder that people within relationships frequently find it difficult to navigate the waters of communication. As your relationship coach, I can help you nurture your relationships using healthy boundaries, balancing time with your partner and time alone, and communicating (and listening) effectively. I can also teach you how to handle conflicts, and healthy cooperation.
The toughest part of a relationship is knowing when it is over. I can help you identify traits, behaviors, and tactics that are not compatible with a healthy relationship. If you are in a relationship that is not healthy for you, I can help you with communication strategies, exit plans, eliciting support, common friends, and dealing with heartache.

As a teacher for over 15 years, I helped guide many families through difficult times and mastered many communication strategies with kids along the way. Whether you have an under-achieving kid, an anxious overachiever, a child who blows up, or one who instigates, I can help. Among many issues, I have helped my clients with child/stepparent roles and difficulties, bonding/witthdrawing issues, aggressive/angry kids, and those who are difficult to motivate (to name a few).
Sometimes parenting differences can cause issues in the home. I can also help you negotiate parenting roles and expectations as well as discipline routines that everyone can live peacefully with.

As your life coach, I can walk along this path with you as I have for many others.

My approach can be described as developmental coaching. This coaching style involves a type of relationship in which I identify a client’s learning opportunities and supports their growth. I primarily act as a client’s thought partner as they work toward promoting capabilities and attaining goals.
This is a holistic approach as it addresses longstanding issues, varies based on developmental stage, and is useful for those who have reached a growth plateau or are just getting started in an endeavor.

I earned a wealth of knowledge about the human mind and relationships as a teacher for over 15 years. During this time, I helped many students, parents, and families as a whole as they learned about themselves and how to relate to one another.
The greatest training for me as a life and relationship coach has been through my role as a mom to my three kids. It is through this journey that grew and adapted to each child, in each developmental stage of life, and through the transitions within my own family.
My kids are vastly different, so I learned to relate to and parent one headstrong rule-challenger, one emotional people-pleaser, and one that was very difficult to motivate. The most important (and difficult) balance was parenting them with a strong relationship intact.
Parenting through a difficult divorce taught me how to navigate my way through the divorce process while nurturing the relationships with my three kids, who were angry and hurting. This experience led me to realize the importance of divorce coaching. I knew I was in over my head and overwhelmed. What I learned through my own process and the knowledge I gained through divorce coaching training led me to be a skilled, compassionate, and effective divorce coach.
