Request a free consultation Contact MeBefore I got sober in 2007, I lived a double life. By day, I was an ambitious, energetic marketing professional making six figures and driving a BMW. But at night, I drank to excess seven days a week. Over time I managed to derail my career as a result of my drinking, ruined all my relationships, destroyed my health, and ended up flat broke.
I began drinking early in life as a way to cope with insecurity, anxiety, and boredom. Over the years my drinking escalated to the point where I was unable to stop on my own. I was stuck in a constant battle between my ambitions and my need to drink daily.
As time passed, I grew increasingly frustrated and frightened by my inability to quit drinking. I became exhausted and angry about the double life that I was living, which eventually led to a nervous breakdown.
Nonetheless, I kept on drinking for several more years, nearly dying from alcohol poisoning along the way. I continued to hope and pray that someday I would get a handle on my drinking once and for all!
Finally, at the age of 43, I began to search for and finally found the help I needed to deal with my drinking problem. I had a lot of mentors in my recovery (and still do) and I'm forever grateful to every one of them!
I lost a lot along the way before I was finally able to get sober. However, sobriety for me was a form of rebirth like it is for so many people. Since getting sober I have gone on to own several businesses, written five books about my experience in recovery, regained my health, got married, and bought my dream home in Reno, Nevada.
Today, I'm a Certified Sobriety Coach who loves helping other people regain their health, happiness, and ambition by getting sober! I also write and podcast about my journey (the good, the bad, and the ugly).
