Participants in the Keys to Spiritual Growth program will establish and strengthen fundamental habits for growing in faith. These habits lay an important foundation for deeper spiritual growth. They include the virtue of prudence (which helps you take the time for God in a chaotic, busy world), the habit of daily prayer, the habit of character development (growing in virtue), the habit of strengthening relationships (which builds charity), and a greater awareness of your office, mission and vocation - and habitual participation in them.

Participants in the Rebuilding Your Inner Abbey program will build off of these fundamental habits and employ strategies gleaned from the spiritual masters to build a truly dynamic interior life and a growing relationship with God. Hallmarks of this deeper level of spirituality include meditative prayer, deep conversion of heart and life, reaching out to others in charity, and discipling others into a relationship with Jesus.

I am primarily an educator, but I like to educate base on what my "students' need. I thrive on feedback and dialogue. Not getting what you need from your experience? Tell me and I'll make the change!

My main "coaching" tool is a spiritual plan filled with practical strategies - actions you can take to make real progress in your faith life. Whether you follow this plan with minimal guidance or with lots of personal attention from me, the plan offers a sure guide to making progress in one area of spirituality.

With personal coaching, I will meet with you one-on-one to walk you through the creation and implementation of your own unique spirituality plan - the part of your spirituality plan that coincides with the particular area of spirituality we're working on. You'll get one-on-one online meetings with me and unlimited access to me by email for the duration of the program.

If you don't want to meet personally or have to make and keep appointments, or if you want personal attention but want to save some money, online coaching is for you. Work on your personalized spiritual plan with my help, but interact with me through the coaching portal on your own time.

Group coaching walks you through the same spirituality plan as personal coaching, but in a more general way. You'll get the guidance you need to develop and implement your spirituality plan. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions on the live call. You'll also have limited access to me by email to get your questions answered and to get help when you get stuck.

Ten online courses make up the core of From the Abbey's spirituality program. These courses are set up to be taken at your own pace. They walk you through practical steps of spiritual growth in each of five areas of spirituality.

Jeff Arrowood is the founder of From the Abbey, a Catholic educational apostolate. From the Abbey helps Catholic adults rediscover the JOY of learning their faith so they can grow in intimacy with God. It offers online learning, home studies, and personalized help to bring you spiritual growth. Jeff also works with parishes to help them establish adult education systems based on research into how adults actually learn.

Jeff also works part-time for the Diocese of La Crosse Office of Marriage and Family Life as the diocesan Natural Family Planning Educator. He and his wife, Jodi, are both certified instructors for the Northwest Family Services online NFP course.

Of course, Jeff’s primary vocation is that of husband and father. He is a stay-home dad for his two children, Rachel and Dominic, of whom he would gladly show you pictures. He and his wife live and work in Somerset, Wisconsin, and are members of Saint Anne’s Catholic parish.

Jeff comes from an educational background. He holds a master’s of theological studies from the Institute for Pastoral Theology (currently out of Ava Maria University in Naples, Florida). He taught at a Catholic high school for 10 years, and has been giving adult educational programs for over 15 years. Jeff has a special love for Saint Thomas Aquinas, Saint Dominic and Saint Benedict, all of whom represent a dynamic, faith-filled intellectual life driven by a love of Christ.

Courses range from $47 - $397 depending on how developed they are. Courses are created through an iterative process - meaning that students help me to develop them through their questions and feedback. The price of each course goes up each time a new version is created. Get in early, help me create the course around your needs, and save money! You get lifetime access to any course, including all future versions.

Group coaching is an additional $50 to the price of the course. You get the course plus one group coaching session per course unit. Group coaching is opened and closed based on the number of people enrolled in the course who request it.

Personal coaching is an additional $100 to the price of the course. You get the course plus one private coaching session per course unit. Personal coaching is available to course participants at any time upon request.

Pricing Example 1: You purchase a new course in its first iteration for $47 and add private coaching for $100. Your price will be $147 for lifetime access to the course plus five personal coaching sessions (one per course unit - most courses have five units).

Pricing Example 2: You purchase a developed course in its third iteration for $247 and add group coaching for an additional $50. Your total price would be $297 for lifetime access to the course plus five group coaching session (one per course unit) that will be scheduled according to the group's needs. These sessions will be recorded and made available to you in your coaching area.
