About me

Owner of Marcelino Consulting Services, LLC, I am proud to offer life coaching and personal consulting services to people from all different backgrounds. My areas of expertise include: finances, health and wellness, vocations, education, career planning, nutrition, tutoring, home health care, mentoring, companionship, community integration, special needs, ABA therapy, and higher education.

PROFESSIONAL AND LIFE EXPERIENCE

I have been coaching and consulting since my early years as an undergraduate student at Kean University. I graduated with honors from Kean University 3 times (in psychology, sociology, and psychological services). I am now in pursuit of my doctoral degree in Educational Psychology, specializing in ABA therapy and Special Education services. I have worked in various capacities throughout my career as a teacher, professor, counselor, behavioral specialist, service coach, author, motivational speaker, behavioral assistant, manager, supervisor, mentor, and caregiver. I have worked with various populations of people including those with mental illness, special needs, dementia, learning disorders, physical and mental handicaps, and autism. I understand the unique challenges that individuals and their families face, and I am caring, compassionate, and motivated to make a difference in their lives. I am a wife and mother of two small children, and I work and go to school. Therefore, I know what it's like to be super-busy and juggle professional and personal obligations everyday through the use of effective time management skills. My main motivation for doing the work that I do is being able to make a positive difference in the lives of others!

Excellent consultant
I went to Lisa for help with my child who has severe autism. I was hoping to have him learn new skills, develop social skills, and stick to a routine.
