Today, my Life Coaching practice is the natural evolution of my decades of professional experience inclusive of sixteen years servicing the staffing needs of Fortune 500 companies as Owner and President of a Staffing Firm, and thirteen years working in the Holistic Massage and Healing industry helping to heal the bodies, minds, and lives of my clients.
From 1992 to 2001, I was the President of a full-service staffing firm located in White Plains, New York that I founded. I employed 70 people, and together we successfully serviced the staffing needs of the area's Fortune 500 companies. In September 2001 after the tragedy of 9/11, like so many others, I assessed my life, career, and personal life and was compelled to make significant changes. At that time, the overwhelming 'knowing' that I was going to be transforming every aspect of my life was palpable. It was at this intersection of my life that I decided to take my personal passion for holistic healing and bodywork, and my strong connection to healthy living and turn my passion into a career.
In September 2001, just six days after 9/11, I returned to school to train in Therapeutic Massage Therapy. While running my staffing firm during the day, I attended the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy full-time during evenings and weekends, and I graduated in 2003 with my degree as a Therapeutic Massage Therapist. While studying at CCMT, I also attended The Upledger Institute where I completed advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage Massage and Somato Emotional Release Therapy. In 2003 at the conclusion of my training I dissolved my staffing firm and opened Natural Bodyworks Massage and set out to build my private massage therapy practice in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
