Through coaching I have come to realize that at the core of nearly every negative situation, unhealthy relationship, and deferred dreams are self-imposed walls and barriers to success. We all have a belief system about who we are and what we are capable of. Often our beliefs are not grounded in reality or fact, but are imposed upon us by the people we love and value the most. Other times, beliefs are ingrained by societal dictates. Our belief system becomes internalized and unconscious over time, manifesting itself as the little voice inside our heads that tell us what we can't have, what we can't do, what we don't deserve, and who we can't be. Sound familiar? I help women overcome false beliefs about their limitations and feel empowered and effective in their own lives.

My coaching style is professional, casual and friendly. Any client of mine is a woman that is ready to go deep and get real. I live for genuine engagement. I hold my clients in high esteem and encourage them to have high self-esteem. I love to laugh and have a little fun, so there will be humor. :) I don't do superficial sessions, and I won't always tell you what you want or expect to hear. I strongly believe in holding clients accountable. Expect actions and patterns of self-neglect and self-sabotage to be questioned and challenged because I truly care and I want to help all my clients succeed. In essence, I will be advocating for you - the you that YOU told me you wanted to be, and the life YOU told me you were ready to live. I tend to give homework at most sessions. Homework is a good way for women to do that most difficult job of staying focused on self and a good tool for me to measure accountability. I use a variety of techniques including MI (Motivational Interviewing) and visioning but I don't necessarily use these at every session or with every client. My coaching process is customized to the individual and I work WITH my clients as a partner and guide in their journey toward personal empowerment.

Hello! My name is Sienna Tarniella and I can't tell you how glad I am that you are right here, reading this page, right now. People often underestimate the power of a story - I mean, who doesn't love a good story, right? So here 's a bit of mine: It all started with a social worker named Julie. At 15 years old, I found myself pregnant and miserable. I chose to attend an alternative high school just for pregnant girls during my last trimester because I was too ashamed to walk the halls of my regular high school. This school required us to attend an on-site, weekly group therapy session as a condition of enrollment. Julie led my group and she was wonderful: warm, caring, intuitive, intelligent, and non-judgmental, plus she asked all the right questions. Questions that made me THINK. Julie gave me a feeling that maybe my life wasn't over. And Julie was right. My life was NOT over - far from it! Today, I am a Certified Professional Coach. My specialty is life coaching for the empowerment of women and teen girls - especially if their challenges stem from issues like teen pregnancy and/or sexual abuse. Why? Because I am a survivor of both of those experiences. I have a broad professional background that includes 10+ years training, coaching, and sales with an educational foundation in psychology and mental health. I am especially skilled in MI (Motivational Interviewing) with over 100 hours logged. When it comes to coaching, I use Socratic questioning, visioning, and other techniques to help my clients assume control over their own lives by challenging their limiting beliefs, inspiring change and helping them develop creative problem-solving skills. In layman's terms: I know how to communicate effectively and assertively, with myself and others. I know how to speak with passion. I know how to write with clarity. I know how to be objective. I know when and how to do self-analysis. I know how to turn negative situations around by thinking outside of the box. I know how to not take "no" for an answer. I know how to figure out which thoughts are my own and which are not. I know how to make something out of nothing. I know how to be happy with a little or a lot. I know how to find and use my resources. I know how to recognize a resource in the first place. And the best part is this: I know how to teach what I know, keep it practical and always motivational.
