I coach clients dealing with complicated family relationships - specifically those that have begun to severely impact the client's quality of life for extended periods of time. Oftentimes these strained or soured relationships will turn toxic, preventing the client from positively maintaining separate relationships and hijacking an otherwise positive life experience. My objective in coaching these clients is to help them confront these issues, cope with outcomes, and ultimately move toward healthy and sustainable family relationships.

Many potential clients are hesitant to jump into the standard prepaid "package" offerings common in the coaching industry today. Some of these packages can run $3-$5K up front for 10-12 sessions. This can be a risky proposition at the outset, since it leaves little room to renegotiate if circumstances change. Laying out that much cash at once for many clients presents a tremendous financial burden among life's many competing priorities.

To promote a more flexible and customized approach, I like to coach my clients using private one-on-one sessions paid each visit, with the option to bring in a family member when it makes sense. A typical coaching cycle involves conducting an initial evaluation to gather details, collaborating to identify a manageable coaching trajectory, and executing the plan together, adjusting it as necessary. I conduct sessions in an office setting, via phone, or via teleconference.

I've spent most of my career working on the business and operations side of a government agency and two mental health enterprises, so that experience provided a solid base from which to launch this effort to give others the coaching and guidance I was so lucky to receive myself.

Growing up with Cerebral Palsy, the comfortable limit of my life's progression was set before I even learned to walk. Once I exceeded that limit (i.e. got married and had a child of my own), I began to experience friction and conflict with my family of origin. Through several years of hard work and guidance, my family relationships that exist today are healthy, symbiotic, and fruitful. They are relationships that grow stronger when I put more of myself out into the world - a world that has room for all of us.

Exploring resources for my own healing, I realized many people struggle with some form of hardship during this differentiation process few of us are expertly prepared to handle. I help my clients navigate this critical transition - from the role of child to the role of independent adult within the family. I'm flexible and happy to offer you several options to suit your lifestyle and budget:

1. Initial Evaluation (First Individual Session) - $100 per hour

2. Follow-On Individual Sessions - $85 per hour

3. Tandem Sessions (with Family Member) - $100 per hour

4. Emergency or Situational Phone Consultations (Talk or Text) - $25 per billed quarter-hour

*If you're interested in purchasing prepaid sessions in advance, that can certainly be arranged at any point during your journey. Discount rates are available in 5 session increments, starting at a 5% discount for the first five prepaid sessions, increasing by an additional 5% for each successive block of five sessions prepaid.
