Breaking up creates the perfect opportunity to dedicate to yourself again. When we lose a relationship, our identity tends to appear to have vanished with it.

It isn't really gone. However, we invest so much of ourselves in relationships that it seems a piece of us has been ripped away.

It is still there begging to be fed life and attention from you. How do you find it?

Exercise to find yourself again

  1. Begin by writing your vision for your now perfect life, without including the person you lost.  Just you.
  2. Now what are the goals that you need to complete to get to your vision in reality?  Write them down.
  3. Next write down a strategy for reaching the first thing you need to do.  Do this for each goal.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime, you will have more time to dedicate to YOU, no one else.  Now,. when the time comes, you have even more to offer yourself, and the perfect significant other.

You have added value to your life by using your time meaningfully.  Which makes you more attractive on a higher level.
