About me
After spending my 20s, 30s and part of my 40's juggling home and work I fell into an empty-nest syndrome. I knew whatever career I chose in my 'later years', it had to be a career where I was actively helping people.
One day I woke up and realized that all of the things that I was passionate about – positive psychology, gratitude practice, universal connection, self-actualization, coaching, mentoring – were things that I had been doing in my ‘down’ time. I have been coaching in one form or another most of my adult life and so decided to work toward my certification.
During this certification process, I am working with a mentor coach who has been in the business for years. It is almost like interning (having other coaches to bounce ideas off) except it is still my own business!
You'll find me very easy to talk with. I am a down-to-earth, no-nonsense authentic person. Just look at my pic. No "professional" make-over or pose for me. Just me being who I am.

PROFESSIONAL AND LIFE EXPERIENCE
I have always been an overachiever. This became obvious when I started college when I was fourteen, going to high school during the day and taking a full load at college at night. This was the beginning of my organizational skills.
I graduated with an AAS in Computer Programming Analysis two weeks before I graduated from high school (2 years early). With no break, I headed off to the University.
Then life and a few poor choices led me to marriage and parenthood. I may have regretted some of my relationship choices but I could never regret the seven beautiful children and now, fourteen wonderful grandchildren that fill my life with joy and love.
I spent a chunk of my adult life working up the corporate ladder at IBM and WorldCom/MCI and was juggling parenting (mostly as a single mom). This lasted until the telecommunication niche began to crash and burn and I was laid off.
After those massive WorldCom layoffs, I began working as a "mompreneur" and finished raising my children running a home based web design/web hosting business.
