About me
My name is Diathe Garnes and I love uplifting & motivating others! I knew early in life that I wanted to be a writer and when I started working on my first book, a collection of poetry, I was overwhelmed with a sense of responsibility to use my words to inspire my readers.
After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in business and having a few published books under my belt, I knew there was still something more I wanted to do, so I started a women's blog called Uplifting Woman. Uplifting Woman is dedicated to creating a better world by uplifting the women of the world and inspiring them to do the same.
My quest to be uplifting didn't stop there. I became a certified life and began the process of building Uplifting Woman Coaching based on the same principles used to establish the Uplifting Woman Blog.

HOW I LIKE TO COACH
My coaching style is a based on a mixture of Holistic and Solution-focused coaching. Like Holistic style coaching, I believe that it's important to look at the client as a whole in order to get a proper understanding of what blocks or negative patterns could be causing issues in their lives. I do believe that everything has a cause and everything has an effect. When we change one aspect of our lives, it can invariably shift many others too. For instance, low self esteem can lead to a lack of motivation to build or grow your business.
Once I determine what things may be blocking my clients progress, I then move to aspects of Solution-focused coaching, concerning all energy on what a client wants to achieve in the end. This involves questioning my client about goals in order to clarify his or her vision. What is it they really want? With this knowledge, we can then formulate a plan using goal setting techniques to get the client to where they want to be.

If you are in the Richmond Virginia area, you can visit my home office for private one-on-one coaching.
ONLINE COACHING
If you are not able to do one on one coaching with me and you're not much for talking on the phone, I also offer online coaching via email and instant chat. I also have many e-courses for various business and personal topics.
Short courses or group coaching

Ongoing training
Currently, I am offering my UPLIFT Coaching program, which is a 6-week plan that can be done either in person, over the phone or online via email.

I'm no stranger to hardships and trials and I credit the many strong, uplifting women who touched my life in so many ways with helping me to overcome and continue to move forward. From family members, to friends to mentors, these women encouraged me and taught me the gift of using one’s wisdom, discernment and talents to pour into the lives of others.
I know how life can often distract us from our purpose, but I've been determined in my life to turn all my obstacles into opportunities and because of them, I now have all the tools that I need to help you! I look forward to the opportunity!
Fee description
Fees:
from $125 USD to $699 USD
My fee for 30 minuets of coaching without the purchase of a coaching plan is $75 or $120 per hour. This price applies to one-on-one coaching, phone and live chat. My email option is $75 for two email interactions.
