I received certification in Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Mindfulness Awareness and Compassion-Based Practices with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach from Sounds True in partnership with the University of California at Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center.
I received additional specialty youth training from Mindful Schools and Child and Adolescent Mental Health in an Uncertain Time: Reintegration Strategies for Classroom and Community.
I have volunteered at Peace4Kids, and Suicide Prevention Center where I received certification in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).
I have been a student of yoga and meditation since 2001. Currently, I am pursuing my BA in Psychology.
I have been inspired to indulge in these trainings after years of working through my own traumas. My work with clients mainly integrates mindfulness and IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy) with some optional movement. I work with clients to cultivate tools of self-compassion and leadership in order to navigate through life and respond skillfully.
Coaching Session - In these 50 minute one on one coaching sessions, we work together in a safe and nonjudgemental space to befriend yourself. You will learn tools to navigate through life with more ease. The approach used is IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy).
Group Coaching Sessions - In these intimate 90 minute group coaching sessions, we hold a safe and nonjudgemental space for each other while we befriend ourselves. These are great for women's circles, youth circles, +. The approach used is IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy).
These generally run anywhere between 6-15 session weeks. In the first session, the IFS model is introduced, and we create our individual intentions for the series. In the following sessions we will begin with a 5 minute meditation, check in on our parts and intention, one member will work with me in a demo session (everyone benefits from this), members will break off in sets of twos to do parts work with each other, main group reflection, and closing.
Fees: from $90 USD to $125 USD
I base my fee structure on an honor system of your financial needs with the consideration that we all have needs, including myself. I am flexible and will work with your needs.
