Undergraduate degree: Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Minor in Communications, Media & Technology

Graduate degree: Masters of Social Work- Licensed Master of Social Work

Background and experience in psychotherapy (counseling /coaching) individuals who deal with varied issues concerning one’s physical and mental health, confidence levels, work, family/relationships and financial life problems and overall well being and happiness.

My approach to problems: Holistic Approach that addresses the mind, body & soul borrowing from various evidenced-based interventions such as Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Approach, Relaxation Techniques, Solution–Focused Techniques Etc.
Professional Bio:
Racquel Walters is a Transformational Coach with a past background as a licensed Medical Social Worker in one of the top hospitals in NYC where she worked with hundreds of patients in which she has counseled, empowered & advocated for. Racquel prides herself in acknowledging and moving past her own fears, self doubts and overcoming failures, as they played a role in her successes today. Racquel now wants to do the same for you! Racquel wants more women to live life as they deem fit through managing self doubt and fears; getting clear on priorities and their life mission and vision, as well as getting focused in their life work with an emphasis on self awareness and self-care. Racquel believes that you too deserve a life of Happiness, Joy and Peace while living with Ease, Guided Direction and Feeling Free!!

The Initiative:
The initiative behind creating the Konnectingher movement and coaching service is for the very reason of empowering and connecting a community of women who have been thinking about how to manage their lives better especially as it relates to work, personal and family, so that they can feel a sense of structure, accomplishment, joy and happiness. It’s for the woman who struggles with getting clear about her life’s path and career choices, though successful already, so that she can implement systems that will help her to feel satisfied about her life’s mission and purpose. My Why:
Working in corporate for years, I constantly struggled with questioning my purpose and my impact on the world. I was working in my past career, working in a top hospital in New York City, yet not feeling fulfilled and happy and constantly felt in my heart and my gut that I had a purpose to do more in this world and impact more lives. I decided to create my dream life by implementing a structure and a system that will serve me and the vision I have to help and empower women to get clear with what they want to manifest in their lives.

Connecting and communicating with women, there is a common conversation. We find it difficult to get clear on managing and functioning in our daily lives. There is a constant identity struggle at work, in our families for a sense of wanting to “commit to and to please everyone ”, wanting to “not be judged”, wanting to ” have a voice” and “be free from pain, guilt, sadness, overwhelm”, wanting to “have it under control”, yet not feeling fulfilled, feeling fully independent, financially secure. At the same time, wanting to “be at peace”, feeling like “I don’t have a life of my own”, not having “the time to spend with loved ones” or “not being able to engage in meaningful activities that interest me”, not feeling a sense of independence and wondering “is it {all} worth it?”

We deal with high stress from everyday life “hustle” or problems which is varied from financial and/or emotional/relationship stress; spiritual emptiness; lack of confidence in ourselves, lack of understanding, lack of love; lack of joy, peace, commitment, clarity and direction; lack of having a cheerleader and community which often time lead to fatigue, depression, anxiety, lack of drive, sadness and/or burnout or lack of coping skills to manage stress, overwhelm, depressive and anxious feelings.

Something to know:

I too have struggled with clarity and direction and has experienced and dealt with the same feelings and thoughts such as thinking and feeling less than, not having a voice, felt not confident, felt unworthy, depressed, anxious, wondering about my happiness and my freedom to live the life I always wanted; constantly feeling overwhelmed and constantly re-evaluating my life and the vision I have for myself; to position myself in this world. I knew that I wanted to create the opportunity for myself to work and live life on my terms with clarity, focus, direction, and the confidence to define my happiness.

I got serious and seek out help to resolve my problems and emotional blocks, and have address them with professional help and mentors and have surrounded myself with a community to keep me focused. I am happy to say I have overcome and have learned ways to continuously manage my daily life, define and own it as I deem fit. It is important to note that this is a continuous process and that I want the same for YOU!

I want you to get CLARITY, FEEL CONFIDENT, HAPPY and KICK ASS in all you do!
