my journey with mental health has been far from easy from working through social anxiety, health anxiety, self-esteem issues, and lack of self-motivation. I would be lying if I said it was easy to get to where I am today. If I'm being transparent about this, the reality is I hit the bottom of the barrel and had a full-on mental health relapse. I suffered depression for the first time in many years. My main struggle is anxiety and depression rearing its head as an adult was a new challenge. I for so long let all of my fears control every aspect of my life. I secluded myself from friends and family, ate to cope with how I felt, and didn't care about myself enough to take care of myself, creating a plethora of health issues I suddenly had to face and come to terms with. If I'm being honest that full breakdown completely changed my life and who I am. I am working on becoming even stronger than I was a few months ago and I know it will be a lifelong journey to maintain this feeling. This commitment is something I have to give myself so I can continue to enjoy the life I finally just started living. I work with an amazing therapist who has pushed me past so many uncomfortable boundaries, and a team of doctors who continue to push me to stay on track. Of course, friends and family play a huge role in this.  I wanted to become a coach because I know someone out there who is me, needing that extra little push...that little bit of motivation, and a lot of praise when you conquer a goal, whether it is big or small. This journey is so much better with an outside perspective who has gone through the same challenges as you, by your side to guide you in the right direction and motivate you to come out strong just like I did. Let's work together and become 1 strong team. Let us work together and build up those around us who need us, and be there to create a ripple effect of support and guidance. Maybe you will realize your path and your succession will give you a whole new perspective on how you want to continue your life moving forward.
