Although this may seem like common sense to some, the fact remains that everyone needs time for themselves. Millions of people go through their day doing things for everybody else, whether it is at work or at home, and they end up drained.

Here is a tip that will help you: take 10 or 20 minutes to yourself every day. You will be amazed at how it changes your day. Take time for you! This means no work, no kids, no cell phone, no computer, just YOU.

Time alone is a big must. If time permits, taking a stroll alone around the park to breathe some fresh air works wonders on one's mental and physical well-being. If you are constantly pressed for time (or have kids like I do for that matter), spend 5 minutes in the morning to meditate and mentally set your goals for the day. Trust me it works!

"take 10 or 20 minutes to yourself every day"
I think everyone should spend more time on themselves! When you have some breathing space from the world and all it's problems, things will simply fall into place and your problems will be solvable. Trust me on this. I like to enjoy a minimum of an hour a day by myself, be it going on a walk or just sitting on my porch.
