#21 decorating tip (stars) easier with #1M tip
A pair of scissors
Fill the pot with enough water so that there is 2 inches of height from the top of the eggs. Put it on high heat with lid off until it comes to a rolling boil. Put the lid on for 12 minutes with the stove turned off. Pour out the hot water and add cold water to the pot with ice in the sink. It’s easier to peel under a little running water. If you are worried about wasting water just peel it in the water after you crack it on the tabletop by rolling it and putting pressure on the egg. Cut it in half and scoop the egg yolk out and into a mixing bowl where you’ll add the mayo, salt, and Dijon mustard.
