How do I port my domain name to Life Coach Hub?

You can have your own domain name instead of using your lifecoachhub subdomain (for instance coachjohn.com instead of coachjohn.lifecoachhub.com).

There are two steps to making this work.

Step one: Website settings

First of all, login and go to your Website Settings page. Where it says FULL WEBSITE: PORT YOUR EXISTING DOMAIN NAME, enter your domain name and click Save.

Step two: Changes to your domain name Settings

Next you will need to create two DNS records with your Domain Name Registrar. You will need to add a CNAME record and a URL redirect to point your domain to your subdomain. This FAQ gives basic instructions on how to do so with popular Domain Name Registrars at time of publication.

You can also contact your Domain Name Registrar through their help desk to find out how to do it. It is not complicated and should be very easy for even a beginner to accomplish. Once the records have been entered, it can take 12-24 hours for the information to be communicated and the domain to start pointing to your new website. You can also Contact us if you have any questions.

If you don't yet own your own domain name, you can first easily purchase one from a domain name registrar (for instance  namecheap.com, godaddy.com or hostgator.com) and then proceed with the steps below.

  1. Login to your account and go to the full Domain List
