We all like to feel safe and in a familiar routine. However, we all know that life doesn't always work that way.
When things get tough, the best thing we can do is surrender to it.
- Take a step back - metaphorically speaking. When we step back we can become the observer.
- Accept the situation is happening - resisting just causes more stress and unhappiness.
- Take any steps that are obvious and available.
- Breathe - when you stay connected wth your breath you can bring yourself back in to yourself and you are then more able to cope with what is happening around you.
